Windows Users:

Please complete the steps below:

1.    Click here to enter our conference room using Microsoft Internet Explorer.

2.    Enter your first and last name and click the “Log On” button to enter the conference room. Leave the password field blank.

3.    If you experience difficulties connecting to the conference room, read the more detailed instructions for Options 1 and 2 below.

Mac/Linux Users:

You will not be able to use a microphone during the conference, but can ask questions and post comments using text chat.

1.    Click here to enter the conference room.

2.    Enter your first and last name and click the “Log On” button to enter the conference room.

3.    If you experience difficulties connecting to the conference room, read the more detailed instructions for Options 1 and 2 below.

I am a first-time user:

Option #1

Direct connect which requires that you download and install a plug-in:

1.    Make sure that your PC and Internet connection meet the following minimum requirements:

·         800 MHz Processor

·         Windows XP/Vista/7 Operating System;
Note: If you are using a Mac or Linux computer please skip to Option #2.

·         Sound Card

·         Headset with built-in noise-canceling microphone; See: Purchasing a Headset.
Note: The microphone may not be activated for some sessions.  In these instances please send your comments and questions to the presenters using the text chat feature of the system.

·         1 GB of RAM

·         Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8 Not Firefox

·         High-Speed Connection to the Internet (minimum download speed: 600 kbps, minimum upload speed: 350 kbps).

2.    Test your PC’s multimedia capabilities and Internet speed by clicking on the following link:
http://www.onlineconferencingsystems.com/echo.exe. An application will download to your system. It is safe to use and virus-free. Click on “Run” twice to start the utility. All the test results should be “excellent” or “good.”

3.    Click this link to download and install the IDEAL Conference® Plug-In. If you experience problems downloading and/or installing the IDEAL Conference® Plug-In, please skip to Option #2.

4.    Once the plug-in has been installed, click here to enter our conference room.

5.    A dialog box will display prompting you to enter a “User Name” and “Password.” Enter your first and last name in the “User Name” field.

6.    Please leave the password field blank.

7.    Click the Log On button.

Option 2:

Direct connect which does not require a plug-in download and installation

If you are using a Mac or Linux computer, or are experiencing a problem downloading and/or installing the IDEAL Conference® Plug-In:

1.    Make sure that your PC and Internet connection meet the minimum requirements listed under option #1 above.

2.    Note: You will not be able to use your microphone entering the room using this option. Please send your comments and questions to the presenters using the text chat feature of the system.

3.    You will need to have Java installed on your PC in order to use this option. If not currently installed on your PC, you can download Java by clicking on this link

4.    Click on the following link to enter the conference room:

5.    Enter your first and last name in the User Name field.

6.    Please leave the password field blank.

7.    Click the Log On button.
