- Dial the hash button twice (##) to put the caller on hold
- When the caller is on hold as you press the hash button twice, you will hear a recording “You have a call on hold, to return to the call, press the hash button. In order to transfer this call to an extension, dial the extension number. For more options, press the star key (*) oncePlease note that the call will be transferred to the other extension. The caller will be kept on hold until the other extension picks up or until routed to the other extension’s voice mailbox.
How to Transfer a call to a different phone number
- Dial hash button twice to keep the caller on hold
Note: When the call is on hold, you will hear the recording “You have a call on hold, to return to the call, press Hash button (#). To transfer this call to an extension, dial the Extension number. For more options, press star button (*)”
- Press * key
Note: When you press the * key, you will hear “To transfer this call, press 1, To cancel press **”
- Press 1
Note: When you press number 1, you will hear “Please enter the phone no. or quick dial number (Flip No.) And then press #. To cancel, press **”
Enter the phone number where you want to transfer the call then press # to complete the transfer.
