Why, when I test my microphone one day it works
and the next day it doesn't?
There can be many causes for this. For example:

Rebooting your PC without your
microphone plugged in;

Disconnecting and reconnecting your microphone;
-
Using your
microphone with another application such as Skype, Speech Recognition, etc.;
-
Automatic MS Windows updates;
-
Automatic MS Security updates;
-
Automatic Virus
scans and/or definition updates;
-
A loose wire;
and,
-
a myriad of
other things.
This is why it is critically important that
every presenters microphone is tested and adjusted on the same day as their webinar and then not touching
their PC again until its time for the webinar.
